A court in the Philippines on Tuesday acquitted investigate journalist Maria Rappler of the final tax evasion charge that had been filed against her.
Ressa, a Nobel Prize laureate who has previously opened DW’s Global Media Forum in Bonn, is the CEO and co-founder of investigative outlet Rappler.
